Because of the fact that the internet is a network of connected computers; it is governed by a system of standards and rules. These are largely sculpted by the World Wide Web Consortium, W3C, which was founded in 1994 by Tim Berkers Lee. It lays a foundation for the future of the web by developing technologies and protocols that must work together in a solid infrastructure… Faster pages, more manageable, more accessible.

The internet is an amazing thing that can share information all over the world, help all sorts of people with all sorts of things… And that is only the way it is now due to some absolutely amazing web designers, developers, etc. So because that’s what I live for and whatnot, I think I’m going to tell you guys more about web design today…

Web Design is made up of many different things, many different disciplines. For example, there’s F.E.D. and B.E.D. – Front End Design and Back End Design.

Front End Design
- referring to any aspect of design processes that appear in or relates directly to the browser.
People in F.E.D. would be the Graphic Designers, Web Designers, some IT Designers…

Whereas,

Back End Design

- refers to programing and scripting that work on the server, behind the scenes, to make web pages dynamic and interactive.
- Those people would be IT designers, Web Developers, programmers…
